The only events that invoke initialize-default-databases are:

  • bootstrap-console-save/S00initialize-default-databases
  • console-save/S00initialize-default-databases
  • dns-update/S00initialize-default-databases
  • domain-modify/S00initialize-default-databases
  • post-install/S00initialize-default-databases
  • post-upgrade/S00initialize-default-databases
  • yum-install/S50initialize-default-databases
  • yum-remove/S50initialize-default-databases
  • yum-update/S50initialize-default-databases

Would it be better to signal-event one of these rather than simply running initialize-default-databases?

kruhm - The lists of servers I had included in the howto under 'dnsbl' and 'rhsbl' were the defaults that would be created by the commands I had listed.

I notice you've corrected the various 'spamhaus' entries, but have the SME defaults changed?

I think we should mention that before updating you should ensure you have the latest versions of these packages:

- smeserver-support
- smeserver-yum

Most of the issues that have arisen have been because these packages haven't been updated and a post-upgrade event hasn't been run.
