Thanks a lot to [[User:Cool34000|Sylvain Gomez]]
who helped me to improve this contrib with short URL's and automatic language detection.

==Description==
With this RPM you can use the popular Wiki Mediawiki (known as Wikipedia) on your SME 7.x. You can install it as one single package in a very comfortable way. For more information see ''http://www.mediawiki.org/''.

==Download==
You can download this package at ''[http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/releases/7/smecontribs/i386/RPMS/smeserver-mediawiki-1.6.10-6.el4.sme.noarch.rpm smeserver-mediawiki]'' . If you would like to save it directly on your SME Server, you should give this command at a linux-prompt
<nowiki>wget http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/releases/7/smecontribs/i386/RPMS/smeserver-mediawiki-1.6.10-6.el4.sme.noarch.rpm</nowiki>

==Installation==
For installation just hit the following command
yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-mediawiki
After finishing the install process you can find MediaWiki in the ''/opt/mediawiki'' directory.

==Update/Upgrade==
A backup is done by the RPM before updating. All Files and MySQL DataBase are saved in /opt/MW_RPM_BACKUP

'''You must move the backup to a safe directory.'''

==Uninstallation==
For uninstall just type the following command
rpm -e smeserver-mediawiki
You can ignore the yum-comments ''signal event post-upgrade'' and ''signal-event reboot''.

In the new release (1.6.10-6), if you want to completly remove GroupOffice from your server, you need the following command:
sh /root/MW_Full_Uninstall.sh
This will delete MediaWiki installation files, MySQL DB and SME DB entries.

This automatic step is just for safety, '''make your own backup before updating/upgrading.'''

==Adjusting accessibility==
The default behaviour of Mediawiki is: accessible from LAN + Internet with "standard http" (SSL off)
You can easily change this default setting with following commands:
# config setprop mediawiki HTTPS on
# config setprop mediawiki HTTPS off

# config setprop mediawiki PublicAccess global
# config setprop mediawiki PublicAccess local
Once done, apply modifications and restart Apache:
# expand-template /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
# svc -h /service/httpd-e-smith

==Use==
You can find mediawiki in the ''/opt/mediawiki'' directory. For using Mediawiki start your browser with the URL ''http://yourdomain.com/wiki'' and logon with the user ''admin'' + password ''admin''.

{{Warning box|For security-reasons, change your admin-password after your first login !}}

This special SME version is stored at '/opt/mediawiki'. You can change your settings in the file '/opt/mediawiki/LocalSettings.php' .

The default name of the wiki is simlpy 'Wiki'. Change the wiki-name in 'LocalSettings.php' at
$wgSitename = "Wiki";
The wiki comes with sme styled logo and favicon stored at
/opt/mediawiki/skins/common/images/sme.png
/opt/mediawiki/skins/common/images/sme.ico
You can upload your favorite logo and favicon and change the settings in the file LocalSettings.php as follows
$wgLogo = "$wgStylePath/common/images/sme.png";
$wgFavicon = "$wgStylePath/common/images/sme.ico";
The new logo should have 135 x 135 Pixels.
The Apple MacMini (Intel) is a very energy efficient hardware-platform and uses the new Intel EFI technology as bootprom, which is not compatible with the standard grub boot-loader. So no standard Linux distribution would start on the MacMini. You have to replace grub with the older lilo bootloader.
With this Howto you can install SME Server on the MacMini (Intel) which uses EFI based bootprom without support for the grub standard bootloader.

==Requirements==
For using SME Server on the MacMini (Intel), you should have the SME install cd and a second cd with lilo as replacement for the not supported grub bootmanager on it.
You can download the second cd with lilo as iso image ''[http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/dberteld/macmini/lilo.iso here]'' .

==Installation==
Assuming you have a standard MacMini (Intel) with Mac OSX out of the box, start with installing bootcamp. Use any scheme to partition your MacMini. SME will override your partition scheme later. The only thing to use bootcamp is to have the right keyboard table for the later SME install process.
Reboot your MacMini with your SME install cd on board and type 'sme' to start the install process.
{{Warning box|'''Don't restart''' your server after the end of the SME standard install process !!}}
Press F2 to open a second console and give the following commands:
# echo > /etc/fstab
Change your SME install cd with the burned lilo bootloader cd and give the following commands:
# mkdir mnt/source
# mount /mnt/sysimage/dev/cdrom /mnt/source
# cd /mnt/sysimage
# rpm -Uvh --root=/mnt/sysimage /mnt/source/lilo/lilo*
# cp lilo.conf.anaconda lilo.conf
# vi lilo.conf
Delete the 2 lines with 'read-only' in it with 'dd-command', save your lilo.conf with ':wq' and type:
# lilo -r /mnt/sysimage
Reboot your MacMini and finish your installation with the initial configuration. The standard lilo bootloader starts your server as usual.
=SME Server auf dem MacMini (Intel)=

==Autor==
[[User:Berdie/de|Dietmar Berteld]]

mailto:dietmar@berteld.com

==Beschreibung==

==Anforderungen==

==Installation==

{{Warning box|Nach dem Ende des SME Standardinstallationsprozesses den Server '''nicht neu starten !!'''}}
# mkdir mnt/source
# mount /mnt/sysimage/dev/cdrom /mnt/source
# cd /mnt/sysimage
# rpm -Uvh --root=/mnt/sysimage /mnt/source/lilo/lilo*
# cd /mnt/sysimage/etc
# cp lilo.conf.anaconda lilo.conf

# lilo -r /mnt/sysimage
Reboot your MacMini and finish your installation with the initial configuration. The standard lilo bootloader starts your server as usual.

==Using CPUspeed==

Your MacMini supports multiple cpu frequencies. Using multiple frequencies can even reduce power consumption but without reducing your cpu power. The used frequence depends on the demanded processes. Login at the Serverconsole and look to youre actual used cpu frequence
# cat /proc/cpuinfo

# cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_driver
This shows 'centrino', which means that your MacMini would use the centrino driver.

You can see the possible cpu frequencies with the command
# cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_availaible_frequencies
My MacMini shows the following frequencies:
# 1833000 1667000 1500000 1333000 1000000
Using multiple cpu frequencies, you have to config your system as follows:
# vi /etc/cpuspeed.conf
Edit the file /etc/cpuspeed.conf and uncomment the line with the driver
# DRIVER="centrino"
Save this file with the ':wq' command

Edit the file /etc/lilo.conf
# vi /etc/lilo.conf
Add the append command after the 'linear' line
# append="apm=off acpi=on"
Save this file with the ':wq' command
# lilo
Last but not least config the servive db so that the cpuspeed service starts when booting your MacMini:
# db configuration setprop cpuspeed status enabled
Save the whole configuration and restart your server
# signal-event post-upgrade
# signal-event reboot
From now on your MacMini should use successful the cpuspeed service to swich between multiple cpu frequencies. To control your steps, login to your serverconsole and type
# /cat/proc/cpuinfo
Now your server should use the min cpu frequence (Success).

Have much fun with the energy efficient MacMini as your preferred SME home server platform !
This shows 'centrino', which means that your MacMini would use the centrino driver.

You can see th possible cpu frequencies with the command
# cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_availaible_frequencies
My MacMini shows the following frequencies:
# 1833000 1667000 1500000 1333000 1000000
Using multiple cpu frequencies, you have to config your system as follows:
# vi /etc/cpuspeed.conf
Edit the file /etc/cpuspeed.conf and uncomment the line with the driver
# DRIVER="centrino"
Save this file with the ':wq' command

Edit the file /etc/lilo.conf
# vi /etc/lilo.conf
Add the append command after the 'linear' line
# append="apm=off acpi=on"
Save this file with the ':wq' command
# lilo
Last but not least config the servive db so that the cpuspeed service starts when booting your MacMini:
# db configuration setprop cpuspeed status enabled
Save the whole configuration and restart your server
# signal-event post-upgrade
# signal-event reboot
From now on your MacMini should use successful the cpuspeed service to swich between multiple cpu frequencies. To control your steps, login to your serverconsole and type
# /cat/proc/cpuinfo
Now your server should use the min cpu frequence (Success).

Have much fun with the energy efficient MacMini as your preferred SME home server platform !
=SME Server auf dem MacMini (Intel)=

==Autor==

==Beschreibung==

==Anforderungen==

==Installation==

{{Warning box|Nach dem Ende des SME Standardinstallationsprozesses den Server '''nicht neu starten !!'''}}
# mkdir mnt/source
# mount /mnt/sysimage/dev/cdrom /mnt/source
# cd /mnt/sysimage
# rpm -Uvh --root=/mnt/sysimage /mnt/source/lilo/lilo*
# cd /mnt/sysimage/etc
# cp lilo.conf.anaconda lilo.conf

==CPUspeed benutzen==

# cat /proc/cpuinfo

# cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_driver

# cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_availaible_frequencies
Mein MacMini zeigt dabei z.B. folgende Frequenzen:
# 1833000 1667000 1500000 1333000 1000000

# append="apm=off acpi=on"
# db configuration setprop cpuspeed status enabled
Speichern Sie die Gesamtkonfiguration und starten Ihren MacMini neu
# signal-event post-upgrade
# signal-event reboot

==Description==

==Requirements==

==Installation==
{{Warning box|'''Don't restart''' your server after the end of the SME standard install process !!}}
Press F2 to open a second console and give the following commands:
# echo > /etc/fstab
# eject
Change your SME install cd with the burned lilo bootloader cd and give the following commands:
# mkdir mnt/source
# mount /mnt/sysimage/dev/cdrom /mnt/source
# cd /mnt/sysimage
# rpm -Uvh --root=/mnt/sysimage /mnt/source/lilo/lilo*
# cd /mnt/sysimage/etc
# cp lilo.conf.anaconda lilo.conf
# vi lilo.conf
Delete the 2 lines with 'read-only' in it with 'dd-command', save your lilo.conf with ':wq' and type:
# lilo -r /mnt/sysimage
Reboot your MacMini and finish your installation with the initial configuration. The standard lilo bootloader starts your server as usual.

==Using CPUspeed==

Your MacMini supports multiple cpu frequencies. Using multiple frequencies can even reduce power consumption but without reducing your cpu power. The used frequence depends on the demanded processes. If you give the command
# cat /proc/cpuinfo
you can see the actual used cpu frequence.
The command
# cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_driver
ansers with 'centrino', which means that your MacMini would use the centrino driver.
You can see th possible cpu frequencies with the command
==Beschreibung==

==Anforderungen==

==Installation==

# mkdir mnt/source
# mount /mnt/sysimage/dev/cdrom /mnt/source
# cd /mnt/sysimage
# rpm -Uvh --root=/mnt/sysimage /mnt/source/lilo/lilo*
=Installing SME Server on the MacMini (Intel)=

==Description==

==Requirements==

==Installation==
{{Warning box|'''Don't restart''' your server after the end of the SME standard install process !!}}
Press F2 to open a second console and give the following commands:
# echo > /etc/fstab
# eject
Change your SME install cd with the burned lilo bootloader cd and give the following commands:
# mkdir mnt/source
# mount /mnt/sysimage/dev/cdrom /mnt/source
# cd /mnt/sysimage
# rpm -Uvh --root=/mnt/sysimage /mnt/source/lilo/lilo*
# cd /mnt/sysimage/etc
# cp lilo.conf.anaconda lilo.conf
# vi lilo.conf
Delete the 2 lines with 'read-only' in it with 'dd-command', save your lilo.conf with ':wq' and type:
# lilo -r /mnt/sysimage
Reboot your MacMini and finish your installation with the initial configuration. The standard lilo bootloader starts your server as usual.

Have much fun with the energy efficient MacMini as your preferred SME home server platform !
==Beschreibung==

==Download==
Das Paket kann unter http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/dberteld/joomla/ heruntergeladen werden. Die aktuelle Version ist smeserver-joomla-1.5.-2.noarch.rpm. Zum Speichern auf dem SME Server geben Sie ein
wget http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/dberteld/joomla/smeserver-joomla-1.5.1-2.noarch.rpm

==Installation und Deinstallation==
Die Installation erfolgt ganz einfach mit
yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-joomla
Die Deinstallation erfolgt mit
yum remove smeserver-joomla

==Anwendung==

{{Warning box|type=Warnung|Ändern Sie unmittelbar nach dem ersten Anmelden am Redakteur-Backup das Kennwort des Benutzers ''admin'', um Missbrauch zu verhindern !}}
With this RPM you can use the popular Content-Management-System (CMS) Joomla on your SME 7.x. You can install it as one single package in a very comfortable way. For more information see ''http://www.joomla.org/''.

==Installation and Uninstall==

Initially check the current version available from
http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/dberteld/joomla/
which at the time of writing is
smeserver-joomla-1.5.1-2.noarch.rpm

Download and install using the following commands
(Please remember to replace the version number in the command with the currently available version number or the download will fail)

cd /tmp
wget http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/dberteld/joomla/smeserver-joomla-1.5.1-2.noarch.rpm
yum localinstall smeserver-joomla*.rpm

For uninstall use the following command
rpm -e smeserver-joomla

You can ignore the yum-comments ''signal event post-upgrade'' and ''signal-event reboot''.

==Use==
You can find joomla in the ''/opt/joomla'' directory. For using Joomla start your browser with the URL ''http://servername/joomla'' and logon with the user ''admin'' + password ''admin'' as administrator.

==Redirection==
If you want to redirect your joomla installation to your favorite URL, use this [http://wiki.contribs.org/Web_Application_Redirect_Tutorial Redirection Tutorial].

{{Warning box|For security-reasons, change your admin-password after your first login !}}
==Description==

==Requirements==

==Installation==
{{Warning box|'''Don't restart''' your server after the end of the SME standard install process !!}}
Press F2 to open a second console and give the following commands:
# echo > /etc/fstab
# eject
Change your SME install cd with the burned lilo bootloader cd and give the following commands:
# mkdir mnt/source
# mnt/sysimage/bin/mount /mnt/sysimage/dev/cdrom /mnt/source
# cd /mnt/sysimage
# rpm -Uvh --root=/mnt/sysimage /mnt/source/lilo/lilo*
# cd /mnt/sysimage/etc
# cp lilo.conf.anaconda lilo.conf
# vi lilo.conf
Delete the 2 lines with 'read-only' in it with 'dd-command', save your lilo.conf with ':wq' and type:
# lilo -r /mnt/sysimage
Reboot your MacMini and finish your installation with the initial configuration. The standard lilo bootloader starts your server as usual.

Have much fun with the energy efficient MacMini as your preferred SME home server platform !
Thanks a lot to [[User:Cool34000|Sylvain Gomez]]
who helped me to improve this contrib with short URL's and automatic language detection.

==Description==
With this RPM you can use the popular Wiki Mediawiki (known as Wikipedia) on your SME 7.x. You can install it as one single package in a very comfortable way. For more information see ''http://www.mediawiki.org/''.

==Installation==
For installation just hit the following command
yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-mediawiki
After finishing the install process you can find MediaWiki in the ''/opt/mediawiki'' directory.

==Update/Upgrade==
A backup is done by the RPM before updating. All Files and MySQL DataBase are saved in /opt/MW_RPM_BACKUP
sh /root/MW_Full_Uninstall.sh
This will delete MediaWiki installation files, MySQL DB and SME DB entries.

This automatic step is just for safety, '''make your own backup before updating/upgrading.'''

==Adjusting accessibility==
The default behaviour of Mediawiki is: accessible from LAN + Internet with "standard http" (SSL off)
You can easily change this default setting with following commands:
# config setprop mediawiki HTTPS on
# config setprop mediawiki HTTPS off

==Hersteller==
[[User:Berdie/de|Dietmar Berteld]]

mailto:dietmar@berteld.com

==Beschreibung==

==Download==
Das Paket kann unter ''[http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/releases/7/smecontribs/i386/RPMS/smeserver-groupoffice-2.18.1-7.el4.sme.noarch.rpm smeserver-groupoffice]'' heruntergeladen werden. Zum Speichern auf dem SME Server geben Sie ein
wget http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/releases/7/smecontribs/i386/RPMS/smeserver-groupoffice-2.18.1-7.el4.sme.noarch.rpm

==Installation==
Die Installation erfolgt ganz einfach mit
yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-groupoffice

==Update/Upgrade==
'''Diese Erweiterung erlaubt leider nicht Update/Upgrade von GroupOffice 2.16.x und 2.17.x'''

'''Speichern Sie bitte diese Sicherung an einem anderen Ort.'''

==Deinstallation==

Die Deinstallation erfolgt mit
yum remove smeserver-groupoffice

sh /root/GO_Full_Uninstall.sh
Damit werden Installations-Dateien, die MySQL-Datenbank und SME DB Einträge gelöscht.

==Anwendung==

{{Warning box|type=Warnung|Aus Sicherheitsgründen wird dringend empfohlen, das Kennwort für den Benutzer ''administrator'' unmittelbar nach der ersten Anmeldung zu ändern !}}

==Spezielle Einstellungen==

# config setprop groupoffice HTTPS on
# config setprop groupoffice HTTPS off

# config setprop groupoffice PublicAccess global
# config setprop groupoffice PublicAccess local
Anschließend aktivieren Sie Ihre Änderungen und starten Apache neu:
# expand-template /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
# svc -h /service/httpd-e-smith

You can easily change those defaults settings with following commands:
# config setprop groupoffice HTTPS on
# config setprop groupoffice HTTPS off

# config setprop groupoffice PublicAccess global
# config setprop groupoffice PublicAccess local
Once done, apply modifications and restart Apache:
# expand-template /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
# svc -h /service/httpd-e-smith
